What makes a man pick axe a baby seal and proceed to skin it whilst alive?? I must declare my abject abhorrence for this practice and indeed the %26quot;characters%26quot; that sell themselves to that trade.
If their mindset is simply money then there%26#039;s is no salvation for them...or indeed the seal pups.
To be reluctantly generous, I inquire what it is that runs through their heads at the time.

Also, when they hold their children up in their arms would they like them to know their %26quot;daddys%26quot; working day.

I wonder also, if their children have little cuddly stuffed animals beside them in the cots and beds....or has each one (stuffed animals) got a bloodied pick buried into their heads?

• Poor white folk from Newfoundland and Labrador. These folks sustain themselves on seasonal incomes. Sealing is a small but necessary part that allows them to feed their families year after year. • well if you have had a pick axe plunged into your head I do not believe you would be alive during skinning.This is a way of life for these people for generations and who are we to judge.Do you live in a home with timber from clear cutting,with processed metals for pipes,wires,sinks and appliances( I know you have a computer and are using electricity) have you eaten anything today especially meat ( and how was that poor beastie killed)So unless you live naked in the bush eating grass and stones and sleep under a shrub what gives you the right to dictate how these people make a living to support their families.Yes it may seem barbaric but it happens every day in the slaughter houses of America to cute lambs,sweet piglets,cows, horses,chickens and so on imagine what the poor slaughter animal on the line feels when the death charge miss fires and it is sent on down the line to be processed alive 0% 0 Votes

• I think coffee has a lot to do with this type of dirty behavior. I saw it on the discovery channel, I then looked it up at google, and I find that they drink an excess of coffee, which causes people to pick axe living mammals while they are still alive and then laugh as they skin them alive while drinking a mocha latte from starbucks. 0% 0 Votes
• Well Pick axes are not a permitted tool for the seal hunts
  Seal pups are not allowed to be killed
  And skinning alive is also against regulation.
