What worse: using old xmas tree for firewood, or just trashing the tree?
does burning firewood hurt the enviroment much? or is there very little impact? would propane or electic heating be any better?
Look at this company,AgriPower, making mobile %26quot;burn bio waste%26quot; power plants, one is going into production in Sacramento CA next year

How about not chopping down a Christmas tree at all? There are other ways of enjoying the christmas spirit without killing hundreds of thousands of beautiful trees each year! I know that most Christmas trees are grown just for that special month and so its not as bad as just chopping down any other random tree but how about planting your own special tree that you can keep with you for years and years to come, decorate it and watch it grow! You can plant in a pot or outside and decorate it up every Christmas!
