shannonocdpr... i am not saying war is good or bad, all i am asking is what would happen if we didnt have it.. technically, that is good. Is war good for our population, is it bad, or does it even matter at all towards our population (does it even affect the population)... im not saying anything negative.

War is not such a reliable birth control. Some over populated regions have zero potential for conflicts that would take lives. More US citizens are killed by drunk drivers in one year than all of the soldiers killed in the Vietnam War. War is not precise. It kills the brightest and the best of our young men and women. Now nuclear war is another subject. In addition to killing huge numbers of people it would ruin the land and atmosphere for many years and affect many people downwind from the actual site. The major concern now is the loss of coastal lands due to rising sea levels. Many regions would lose food sources and the population would move inland causing more disease, crime, and depletion of all resources.

  • Hello Princess

    If population is More Pollution is More.
    If Population is more we have to take WATER/GAS/ELECTRICITY/PETROL/DIESEL/PETR... WHEELER/ALUMINIUM/IRON/GOLD/COPPER/MINIE... ETC from our EARTH.

    If more persons claim on Boat, Boat will sink in River or Sea.
    Same way If Population more, one day our EARTH will damge. Earthquake/Tsunami will come I am having only one Daughter.My self/My wife/MyDaughter Living Happly in our Hose. If we produced More Children it is difficult to look afte them.

    same way our EARTH also mother for all us.

  • Perhaps the real question is: what would happen to war if we didn%26#039;t have population? The more population you have, the more likely conflict over resources is going to erupt. War is a side-effect of any living organisms instinct to survive. An encroachment on a living Thing%26#039;s resources prompts it to eliminate the threat or face death. If you mean to eliminate war as a means to stop death due to natural competition for survival than you must do one thing: create unlimited resources. Once you do that, life can infinitely spread and no longer have to worry about boundaries and therefore no longer fight. But since this is impossible then you would have one option, eliminate the instinct of basic survival. Once you do this, beings no longer feel the need to kill each other and the population will increase for a short amount of time. Then that population will extinguish it%26#039;s resources and die of starvation or thirst. Eliminating war will not eliminate death if that is what you%26#039;re trying to ask.
  • Disease and starvation will probably answer this one.
  • Not much, I don%26#039;t think. Lots of people die in war but not so many that it would affect our population. It would completely change history though.
  • People wouldn%26#039;t be able to jam to %26quot;Lowrider%26quot;
  • After wars we have masive baby booms so i think war creates population.
  • Well Gee If that%26#039;s a good form of birth Control then why look down so bad upon Abort@@. I think that is awful way of thinking , what made you come up with that question ?
