Where can i prospect for gold (lots of it) in victoria, australia? i am wanting to go gold prospecting in Victoria, Australia, and I know of places to look at and go %26#039;hunting%26#039; for it, but i was wondering does anybody know of any good spots to find gold? im looking to find about 5 - 10 ounces. Also, do i need a prospecting license to dig anywhere thats not my land? like in a government park or something?

Now let%26#039;s look at this logically...

Gold is about €600/oz at the moment and you want someone to tell you where you can get 5- 10 ounces or €3,000-6,000.
That%26#039;s enough money to get to Victoria from anywhere in the world and have a nice vacation.

So:
If someone does know, why would they tell you; why wouldn%26#039;t they go themselves?
Even if they do know and do tell you, they are also telling the whole world (or at least the bit that is on YA) hence it%26#039;d be gone by the time you got there.
Nope, the only answer you%26#039;re going to get is from people who don%26#039;t know...

• You can prospect all you want in my gold mine. So far all I%26#039;ve found is sand, but maybe you%26#039;ll have better luch (and get the pond dug a little deeper).
