There is a tradition with Eskimos that when you ore too old to forage and fend for yourself you must walk out into the snow and ice and keep walking. Never to come back.
Also, an additional fact about Eskimos. They are the only race or culture in this world to never have had use of any mind altering substances. Not even caffeine.
