Which U.S. state has the most lakes and how many? Looking to move and seeking lakefront property. The more lakes there are, the cheaper the property.

Alaska. We have more than 3 million lakes. Most are in remote locations and wouldn%26#039;t be very convenient for a lake-side home. Lakefront property is very expensive in the major cities.
I%26#039;m not sure which state has the most, but I do know that Minnesota doesn%26#039;t have the most. Wisconsin technically has more lakes. Minnesota has a larger total area in lakes, however.
Alaska!!!!! Alaska is home to more than three million lakes. Fact!!!! Minnesota (Land of 10,000 Lakes) has the most lakes in the lower 48 states.

Minnesota, land of a thousand lakes! They all look like Siberian lakes. Why don%26#039;t you go for quality, like Lake Tahoe?
