Who can I email or write a letter to about environment concerns pertaining to?
garbage landfills, natural disasters and or water conservation. I take an oceanography course in college and we need to do a project on an environmental concern.

To share your opinions: The most important person(s) you could contact would be your congressperson, then your state legislators, and then your state%26#039;s department of enviromental conservation. Nationally, you can write to the Dept. of the Interior, but that is a waste of 41 cents postage as long as Bush is in office.
To get information: Try the Ocean Conservancy for water issues, including trash in the oceans. They are a very good organization. The Sierra Club, especially at the chapter/state level is an excellent resource. And your state%26#039;s department of conservation too.
You can do a search for any of these groups online, including who your legislators are, or call your local librarian.
