Oil Corps don%26#039;t use uranium, power companies do.
The military uses uranium in naval vessels, warheads (which have been %26quot;used%26quot; in decades, and sabot rounds. Sabot rounds use Spent Uranium, and saved countless American lives in the first Gulf War.
It is estimated that the waste to power a major U.S. city via nuclear power for a year creates enough waste that it would fill a small box you could shove under a desk. It just hangs around awhile. This seems more attractive in many respects than the waste created by oil or gas fired power plants.
I am concerned about my family %26amp; living on this planet. Which is why I want power so I can do %26amp; get to my job, run the life saving machines at my local hospital, run my local police cars %26amp; fireengines, keep at bay the Wisconsin winters, etc... maybe you%26#039;d prefer to be a caveman (no cooking fires though that%26#039;s a heavy polluter for the useful energy produced!) 33% 2 Votes -
Your proposals would severely limit transportation of people and goods, fuel to light and heat our homes, plastics, fertilizer to grow crops.
Since a lot of retirement plans own stocks of various corporations, restricting corporations could lead to greater poverty among the elderly.
