Why aren%26#039;t there fireflies in Colorado? I used to live in Illinois and they were everywhere - here I haven%26#039;t seen one :/ Just observing.

colorado is too dry.. and the area is in a higher elevation than illinois.. fireflies feed on water and live in wet areas..
