Public Transport in Britain is shite but they want us to use it
Crazy %26#039;disaster merchants%26#039; coming away with global warming nonsense. In a free country , I have the right to choose to drive my own car and not cycle in the cold , rain and fog. The snobby contempt they show to the common working man is disgraceful. Middle Class tree-huggers filled with political correct mumbo-jumbo.

Shut the hell up! We nature freaks have the right to say whatever we want to. We just don%26#039;t want the world to die out. In the near future, this world will be so terrible, we%26#039;ll be living indoors if it gets so bad that we%26#039;ll have to stay inside. The world will become a gigantic hot ball because of asses like you who don%26#039;t care about the world.

Public transportation is London is fricking fabulous!!! Way better than anything in the States (besides New York). Also, since when are environmentalists middle class..most I know ARE the common hardworking man.

I am not exactly an environmentalist talking the banners aroung but i do share the thought that this EARTH needs to be taken CARE of.
human activities have actually disturbed the cycles of nature, the ways it functions. ( biological, marine, geological cycles)(i say u get a knowledge of them first).
The ignorant (which u seem to b) nature of the human race in the 19th and 20th century has lead to a disbalance in nature. Excessive emmssions, to land, soil and air has lead to ppl (and other life if u care) have direct or indirect effects on their health. The air pollutants (which is very much a result of your gas guzzlers) causes 5 000 premature deaths each year in canadian major cities only (thats only the data i cud find). In all, 13 million ppl die each year due to env problems.
Now i wont ask/force u to get a public transport or cycle, just keep ur vehicle in an excellent working condition and make sure the euro norms are followed. That shud b gud enough, and if the whole world follw these norms, i m sure the problem will be contained.
ps: use energy efficiently, at home and outside.

You have the right to, but ultimately gas prices / oil supply will force you to use public, likely electric transport [Which is admittedly **** everywhere], get microgenerators [solar / wind], get an electric vehicle, or bicycle.

There are a lot of generalisations in your question that are innaccurate; not all our public transport is %26#039;shite%26#039; as you put it, and quite frankly I%26#039;d rather get from London Victoria to Brighton in 50 minutes on a nice comfortable train then sit in traffic jams on the M23 for 4 hours without anywhere to pee, and I%26#039;d rather stand on the London Underground for 20 minutes to reach my suburban home then sit in another traffic jam fot 90 minutes. You have the right to sit in your cramped little car if you wish but do you have the right to pollute and kill the planet??? That is the question. And yes I do hug trees. And if you don%26#039;t love the natural landscape and trees and plants how can you love living or another person. The natural ecology of the earth is what sustains human life and if we kill it all, then we will all be dead too.
