Why should the government have the biggest responsibility in protecting the environment?

because a great deal of the problem is caused by industry, and industry will not willingly spend money to protect the economy.

americans also will not spend to protect the country.
consider that walmart forces corporations to move jobs out of the country.
but most folks don%26#039;t care until it%26#039;s their job.

the government must take the responsibility because the rest of the country will not do so.

• They shouldn%26#039;t. EVERYONE has responsibility in protecting the environment, and the government needs to make sure that people (and companies) live up to this responsibility.
