Wildlife in Phoenix, Arizona? I am writing a story and having some problems with something.

Can anyone tell me what kind of large predatory animals live in Phoenix, AZ and it%26#039;s surrounding areas?

Main predators would be coyotes, with the big cats less numerous but more dangerous. Diamond back rattlers are definitely predators, They are also dangerous enough to make it worth while to get inoculated with their serum if you will be going into rough areas.

There are some bats, and of course Gila Monsters. 67% 2 Votes

    there are Ocelots..that are likea leopard-mountain lion-panther cat thing
    there are lots of coyotes and california condors, also
    ther are also Collared Peccarys and javelinas that are both pig-hog things

    gila monsters and diamondback rattlesnakes are dangerous, but not something i%26#039;d classify as %26quot;predatory%26quot;
