Will the human race last another 100 years ? i know that this question has already been asked and it REALLY got me thinking. but it was posted in 2006 and i wanted to start things fresh because so much has changed.
so the real question is, will we survive ? if so, how will things HAVE to change in order to. How will we live differently. If not, what will be the cause.

I think human kinds will last for at least 100 years, or more. Regardless of the majority of human race don%26#039;t care and concern our environment with the outcomes of rapid weather changes, floods and drought in this parts of this world. I think the implied karma to China and the US has shown in the recent months of snow storms, earthquake, flood, rainstorms, and cyclone. It is because these two most polluted and highest emission of carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide, and suspend industrial particulates. Hong Kong is named as the most polluted city in this world with recorded API (Air Pollution Index) of 50 to 100 average year round which is far away from the WHO%26#039;s (world health organization) recommendation of 30. There were recorded 542 person had died with the cause of the most toxic particulate in this world. The additional death toll of 3,000 of the chronicle diseases of air pollution caused asthma, heart and lungs.
According to the Li Ka Shing Medical Centre of the University of Hong Kong has recently released a report of more than 10 million clinical visits for the treatment of air pollusion caused asthma, heart and lung. Hong Kong has a total of seven millions.
I am aware that the human race is getting weaker and unhealthier and need medical treatments year round. The above-noted report is described about the year of 2007 alone.There are more than one million Hong Kong citizens are currently taking more than ten pills per day for the treatment of diabetes, high blood pressure, stomach, kidney, heart and lungs. I think most of the human race are living with different kinds of chronicle diseases caused by air pollution, and bad environment. I think most of them are needed to pay high medical costs and only those riches can afford it. The poor and rich gap will be wider, and poor will die younger in the future. The way things have been going, I have doubts about our still being around in 100 years. I think if we keep going the way we have been, we%26#039;re going to destroy ourselves!

We need to do things differently. We need to treat each other with respect and see different points of view.

We need to stop responding to everything and everyone with an attack or the threat of attack.

We need to stop being motivated by greed, and do what benefits everyone..

We need to stop trying to %26quot;win hearts and minds%26quot; with propaganda. The way to win people over is to show them we care about them and want to help them, not terrorize them while telling them we%26#039;re trying to give them a better country.

We need to clean up our air and water, etc. %26amp; treat our planet and all the life on it with respect.

We need to change our ways completely, or we%26#039;re done.

I%26#039;m sorry that you are so worried at your age, but I%26#039;m glad that someone so young has enough awareness of what%26#039;s going on in our world today to BE worried! There%26#039;s hope in just that! So many people just live in their own little world, just worried about how things affect their wallet and lifestyle, and just trying to maintain the status quo. That attitude keeps us from making the necessary changes that will improve things for everyone, and give us a chance for a good future.
