Wind Farms; ideal sites in Powys, Wales. Who%26#039;s to pay for all the access roads? ? Road improvement schemes have ignored Mid Wales; Powys has low population; why should Powys ratepayers have to pay for new access roads needed to handle giant delivery wagons? After all, the power generated will be exported elsewhere. Will %26quot;clean%26quot; electricity customers be so enthusiastic as to pay for the huge expense and disruption brought about in installing those gigantic turbines?

1.lets face it, the need to renew roads is relative to the amount (and increasing amount) of traffic on the roads, Powys does not have large volumes and is not set to. So scrap that part of the rant...

2. What do you mean ALL the power generated will be taken out of the area, you clearly are just trying to bad mouth wind farms..

please come back with reasonable objections such as disturbance to local wild life or others....

Poiromar accuses me of ranting; not so; and I don%26#039;t object to wind farms; I asked who is to pay for the enormous amount of road widening given that Powys has a very low population.
These turbines are enormous, and normal Welsh roads are too narrow to handle them. And hundreds of them are proposed.
