Would you swap your fly spray for a flay swat?

I use neither - unless I%26#039;m feeding a spider, I usually catch and release flies.

• In a heartbeat. Manual killing is so much more satisfying (and sportsmanlike) than using chemical weapons.

• Already did. Have several. Nothing sprayed in my house for a few years. Last was around 6 aerosol bombs, left the house for a while, then aired it out good. Flies are annoying but persistent and no matter what the label says, if it kills flies or insects, it is harming you to breathe it.
• what fly spray? I%26#039;d use a swatter. Especially since I have fish tanks - wouldn%26#039;t want to expose the fish to t hose chemicals!

  we lived in an apt, and the landlord did not believe in window screens. one summer, i killed 100 flies in one afternoon. everytime i tried to watch tv, one would land on me, it was like the chinese water torture. i would go balistic.
  
  so when hubby came home, i complained. he did not believe i had killed 100 flies. so i gave him a rolled up news paper, and told him have at it.
  
  so he goes down the hall into the other room, looking for flies (i had killed most of them by this pt).
  
  so i came in behind him a few mins later, and he%26#039;s standing in the room, wielding the rolled up newspaper, head ****** as if he%26#039;s listening, and like he was on springs, ready aim FIRE!
  
  so i snuck up behind him, and very lightly touched his back with my finger, he spun around arm raised ready to swat me, and boy did he ever jump when he seen me standing there.

• when i go to my caravan in summer, that%26#039;s when we get summer, i take my trusty fly bat with me it is like tennis racket,but with a mettle mesh it works from a battery you press a button on the handle this zaps the fly no need for fly sprays my bat is just the job. birdman
