radio active pollution mean man made pollution.Environmentally to see that man mad things makes whole world polluted.Radioactive pollution is the sources which are generated after the reaction of any fission reaction.examples are nuclear power plants and laboratories or plants of uranium enrichment etc.in uranium 235 (used in nuclear power plants) after used radioactive waste/gases released in environment.which causes radioactive pollution.in gases most hazardous items found and same as in waste.Gamma rays founded in plant surrounding%26#039;s and not to be protected by humankind(no method invented to prevent).on the other hand contamination is also found in that areas.Rivers are also contaminated due to waste released.standard are given of released waste but who care.Prevention:

Radioactive pollution is the pollution caused by radioactive pollutants. A number of atoms posses the ability to emit radiations and, thereby cause radio-active pollution. Radiations originate from instability of nuclei of an atom which loses sub.nuclear particles and energy to acquire a stable state.
Radiation is energy being propagated from one place to another through space.There are maily two types of radiations: Non-ionising and Ionising. Non-ionising radiations have shorter wave length but have greater energy and may be able to harm the microorganisms but are able to injure only the surface tissues of higher plants and animals.

The prevention or disposal measures for radioactive pollutants could be, burial under Antarctica Ice-Cap, Burial under sea, Disposal in space outside earth%26#039;s gravitational field, disposal deep underground surface, burial specialls constructed buildings under human care, reprocessing of nuclear wastes, transmutation to isotopes with shorter half lives.
