FWIW- I am totally for electric. I would just like to see if the the problem of hazardous disposal of batteries can be solved or minimized. I wish we could destroy all the coal power plants, and force them to go wind power, or at least solar. I am a car enthusiast, and would give up my passion in a second if there was a good alternative. 0% 0 VotesToyota already put a premium on buying back old hybrid batteries. 20% 1 Vote

A company called Eestor is developing a supercapacitor that is expected (hopefully) to deliver much greater energy density than the chemical batteries we currently use, and can be charged in much less time. They have even got the attention of Lockheed Martin, a government contractor.
