Evolution theory? I have alternative theory and question of evolution,
my theory is that the world evolved to the state that we are in billions of years ago, and the ppl of that time as the same as in this time caused their own distruction, they had nuclear weapons, cars, ipods, and mobile phones, but with the distruction of the planet in their time it wiped them completely out, after which we had the dinosaurs who were able to dominate the earth and grow to their size, as there was nothing to defeat them, and the prehistoric man (survivors of the distruction) had to work with what they had, creating a fire with sticks, inventing the wheel, and hunt for food, eating raw meat without means to cook, and slowly we reached the time we are in today, where we have everything, and yet we are in such a volatile world, that evolution may be distructed again, and will take the same cycle in another billion years. this is an excert from my book in progress what do you think. comments please

please read carefully dinosaurs were able to grow and exist because humans were scarce, allowing them to dominate, the few humans lived in hidden places, to avoid being eaten, until they were able to grow a population that could wipe out the dinosaurs

jimmy my boy, its a story A FICTICIOUS STORY, aimed at jogging some thought in ppl who dont read books of this genre, it has a deeper meaning than fact and fiction and if u cant see that then your comment is a waste of space.

It is an entertaining idea but it is also impossible. If a high technology like ours existed in the distant past there would have to be unmistakable evidence such as unnatural deposits of metals etc. We would know it. It could not be hidden or obscured by the passage of time.

Update:
The metals deposits cannot be erased by time because we use combinations of metals that are never found in nature and any civilization as advanced as you postulate would have also. Such unnatural mixtures of metals would survive for billions of years. Since we do not find these unnatural combinations of metals we know there was not advanced prior metalworking civilization even if that were the only evidence to have survived.

Actually it might be interesting for your book for your modern humans to discover traces of the long past civilization in unnatural metal alloys or other interesting ways. It could make for some interesting plot twists and would also increase the scientific realism of the book. 75% 3 Votes

• There was a tv documentary i saw a few years ago which im trying to find, I think it was called %26#039;the day the earth began%26#039;. Basically 4.5 million Years ago 2 massive rocks/planets collided and became the earth and the moon. The earth was just a big ball of red hot lava, then (i can%26#039;t remember in which order it happened) something created an atmosphere and clouds which rained acid rain for thousands (or millions) of years, which eventually cooled the earths surface down which turned the lava to rock and stuff, then comets from the earth/moon collision pounded earth which put protein on earth, which somehow made plants and trees grow, then insects and fish, then mammals and dinosaurs, then dinosaurs got wiped out by an asteroid then it all started growing again but this time instead of dinosaurs, the moronic human! thats the jist of it.
