How can I recycle bottle tops?

go to a supermarket like Pathmark and they have vending machines that you can recycle in the plastic sector.

I live in the uk and we don`t have this shop here. But this could be the way forward here too. I was wondering if you could put bottle tops in with the tin cans.

• this recycling thingy is a right load of bollox, its straight in the wheelie bin for me

• Can you? My local council runs a regular recycling collection of bottles and glass but they request you to remove bottle tops and corks and put these in the black bag non recycle rubbish.I assumed that the type of plastic or metal that tops were made of were not reuse able.
• Turn them into bling. A must have fashion accessory for the super rich. See if you can get Kate Moss to wear one.
