Well, for one thing, NASA uses fuel, and NASCAR uses gas... so you really cant compare.
And neither waste it... the gas and fuel is burned for a purpose. -

NASA should really think about installing a battery powered engine in their rockets. This would solve all their fuel problems and would help to stop global warming. Maybe all the airlines too, they should install battery powered electric engines in their 767 jets.

One of them has been using a practical hydrogen-powered vehicle for the last 20 years. The ONLY practical hydrogen-powered vehicle, thus far.
And it%26#039;s very useful for commuting, if you happen to be commuting to the International Space Station. -
What do you mean WASTES ?
Both USE fuel.
One for advertising dollars in sports.
One for national defence.
Both for science.
