More improvements need to be made in today%26#039;s cars to use mixed gasoline fuels. Today%26#039;s cars are still not getting the efficiency they should.Another way to make the additives cleaner and cheaper is to get away from using corn and soybeans. It wouldn%26#039;t. Shorter lifespan for engine seals, poor fuel mileage, and the hidden costs involved for the environment and economy make it less efficient and less environmentally friendly than gasoline.

If pure Alchohol costed $3.00 per gallon at the pump after taxes and gasoline costed $4.00 then there would be a cost benefit .
