  I think that if we can rid the world of the need for power and greed we might survive, however right now the world is consuming more resources than it can produce and sustain.
  Also if you look at American foreign policy they are really stirring the pot. Every move that they make is well calculated in terms of controlling more of the world and pushing people towards fear. Fear will ignite many more problems. Maybe a global war.

• Do not fret dear. The world would surely come to an end one day because the Bible says so but not as if it would disappear but for the purpose of building a new earth/world.
  
  The way the world is structured now is built on inequality which is driven by greed for profit. This inequity is driven by abnormal exploitation of both human and natural resources in a way that is not regenerative and thus not self-sustaining. We are all therefore heading for self destruction. simple.
