Speeding up my Electric Scooter? I have an IGO Zoom GT2 electric scooter, it goes roughly 32-35km/hr, and while I go down hill it seems to be limited to 35km. You would think it would keep accelerating but i feel it %26#039;tugging%26#039; keeping me from reaching 40. Does this sound like something reasonable to defeat? Im not looking to reach 60km, but i would like for it to allow me to reach whatever speed i wish down a hill...

Electric Scooter are regulated to a maximum speed of 32 km/hr. or 20 MPH.
there is a governor attached to it to keep it from going any faster.
so all you would have to do is to disconnect it. jcms 86% 6 Votes

  • you didn%26#039;t mention where you are but some places require the scooter to be limited to certain speeds to keep them in a certain class. If they go over it then they will need more licencing and insurance. 14% 1 Vote
