Electric cars, Air driven cars, Hydrogen cars, Solar Cars, Hybrid cars, etc. all work, but that does not mean they are cost effective, practical for most people, are environmentally friendly when everything is taken into account.
You cannot overcome the laws of Physics. It takes a certain amount of energy to move something from one place to another at a particular speed. This does not change, no matter how you produce the energy. At this time, the most cost effective way to produce energy is Oil and gas.
Hydrogen - Costly and Safety problems.
Electric - Still pollutes at source, Batteries, Short range.
Air - Short range, still must use energy to compress air.
Solar - Would take a football field of panels per car.
About the best you can do is get a very small car like a Toyota Corolla (40 MPG), Walk more, Bike more, Carpool, Get a very small house, recycle, and try to buy local products as much as possible. 0% 0 Votes
