Why not nuclear powered cars? I was just looking at this wikipedia article.

It was never built, but the claimed it would run over 5000 miles between charges, at the end of the core%26#039;s life they would be taken to a charging station, which research designers envisioned as largely replacing gas stations.

Why can%26#039;t we be driving these?

waterboarding, I just find it amazing they, the government, can power an aircraft carrier for years at a time with a one pound radioactive rock, while we all argue over gasoline.
