Maybe. It depends on how much range it has, and how much it costs. I know someone with a hybrid Prius who just got a quote of $3000 to have his batteries replaced after a little over 3 years of driving. I live in Las Vegas, and the heat out here just destroys batteries. I%26#039;ve never had a battery last more than 3 years in the 20 years I%26#039;ve lived here. Some die after only 2 years. I know the batteries in the Prius aren%26#039;t liquid sulfuric acid like a car battery, but evidently they don%26#039;t last any longer anyway.

is it available in north America ?? I will line up for it been looking for an electric car for a long time, But here in Canada the transport Canada will not allow electric car on the roads But if BMW is making one maybe they will reconsider..
