Hydrogen fuel is the only renewable fuel source that is both economically feasible and can provide the amount of energy the world needs. We currently make hydrogen from oil or natural gas and that will have to be changed to using solar farms to use the sun%26#039;s energy to produce electricity that is used to break water into hydrogen and oxygen.We can%26#039;t all use deep fryer oil, and there isn%26#039;t enough land and water available to make the ethanol we need. There is a lot of oil in coal and shale, but the pollution levels to produce the oil will pollute the atmosphere and water supplies.
Whatever country corners an efficient way to produce, move, sell hydrogen will become the richest country in the world.
The water dribbling out of our tailpipes will just chean the road!

Cars leak water all the time, there is no excess of water to worry about, quite the contrary. Roads are also designed to be curved so that water runs off the sides. In freezing weather, roads are salted to prevent freezing, though in winter, some freezing is to be expected. Drive carefully and slowly and ice doesn%26#039;t have to be a huge problem.

second even if there was a hydrogen powered car leaking water on a freezing day, hows it different from rain or snow or sleet or all the other crappy weather? so its not a problem. 20% 1 Vote -
And it%26#039;s not like there is a faucet turned on underneth them. It wouldn%26#039;t make much of an impact being that the more congested roadways have cars producing heat through friction and keeping the moisture in a liquid state.

no because hydrogen will never make it main stream
the only hybrid car that is catching on is electric because people can charge them in their home.

Not likely, and if a problem developed they could just route the exhaust upwards instead of towards the ground.

No, I don%26#039;t think the quantities really work that way. As we advance the technology we could also heat up he water and cause evaporation.

I would not be too concerned with a hydrogen fuel cell car anytime in the near future. Honda%26#039;s test vehicle cost $500,000 --- Honda says that maybe in about 10 years they can get the cost down to ONLY $90,000!!
