Any good ideas to let our employees know about our companies recycling program? I work in a manufacturing environment. We have in house recycling and the employees can bring in outside trash as well. Does anyone have any good ideas that would help put our recycling program into the for front?

We have BBQ%26#039;s with the money from what we recycle, bottles cans cardboard etc. The employees like it.

• Ask your employees how your company can do more to recycle or reuse, reduce. When people start discussing this you may be amazed at how supportive they will be.
• Pay them for their recycled stuff at a higher rate than what outside recyclers will pay them.
• Give comp time or some bonus for participating.
• Stick a flyer in the paycheck envelope.
• Tell them.
• I would put signs on store windows and tell a ton of people about it and tell them to tell their friends and family. Good Luck!!!!
