Are Polar Bears important to science or conservation and how?
I know there considered endangered, but I%26#039;m looking for something else

Polar bears (Ursus maritimus) are the world%26#039;s largest land carnivore. They keep their prey in control, and are well respected among many peoples. They are also elusive, which makes them all the more fascinating. Who knows? Maybe they have medicinal properties?

They keep the seal population healthy by killing off the sick and old ones first. They also keep the seal population from exploding and eating all the fish.

look at from the food chain point of view. what is there primary food (seals) , fish, birds (when they can get them), then look at the other end.. bear meat is a staple for the folks that live there, also clothing ect..and i%26#039;d guess other animals eat the bear after it dies.so we see a few things that is important the bear is, from any view

yes because they are the only predator to the other animals in their habitat, polar bears going extinct would lead to their prey overpopulating and destabilizing the environment they live in

No, we can always ship plenty of grizzly bears to replace them
