Most sea lions have reduced populations in general. There are several different kinds of sea lions. All sea lions in US waters are protected under the U.S. Marine Mammal Protection Act. However some countries have quotas for killing sea lions as a concession to their national fishing industries. 100% 1 Vote

• No the only species of Sea Lion that is endangered as far as I know is the Stellar Sea Lion up in Alaska. And I%26#039;ve never heard of %26quot;testing%26quot; being done on sea lions. 0% 0 Votes
