Are there still protected wildlife rainforests? Where? When i watch Attenborough - Life of Mammals or others, i see huge beautiful untouched landscapes.

where are some of these places?
do they still exist today?
or are there crunched under skyscrapers?

As well as wonderfully diverse wildlife there are some extreme parasites in the tropical regions of the world so any one going there should consider this last fact first.
