  • Most definitely! Larger grocery stores and even many small ones have a bin where you can put your bags. The bags don%26#039;t have to be from that store or anything like that either, you can just go in, drop them off and leave if you don%26#039;t like the store or don%26#039;t shop there.
  • You can recycle plastic bags anywhere that takes number 1 %26amp; 2 plastics. A lot of bigger supermarkets also have places where you can bring your used bags for recycling.
  • Most major super markets take them. Wal mart does, but I hate Wal mart. Most retail stores involving grocery will take them if they are large. Also, small recycling centers won%26#039;t but larger ones like those that take rechargable batteries and the like will. Peace
  • The best place is at Wal-Mart or the grocery stores. NY%26#039;s a pretty big place, so I%26#039;m not sure where you are, or I could give you more detail on other places. BTW, if you get lots of them, there%26#039;s a place that turns them into children%26#039;s playground equipment (how cool is that?)
  • YOU COULD TRY WWW.FREECYCLE.ORG
    :)
  • i do know that some supermarkets do take their shopping bags back if thats what your reffering to? but im sure there are many recycling centers in new york city if you search yahoo you can pinpoint the exact location near your home where a recycling center is located. good luck.
