It depends on whether you get advanced degrees and what branch of conservation you go into. The govetrnments (federal and state) employ a great many people and frequently offer good jobs and benefits.As an undergrad, my major was in the conservation department; I%26#039;ve worked for the USF%26amp;WS, two states, and a university as a fishery biologist; I have taught; I have consulted; and I have done a lot of work ourside the field as well. 100% 3 Votes
