What minerals? 100% 1 VoteOther Answers (2)

Recycling instead of disposal. There are some very volatile minerals that were intended for use in one area alone, and yet they end up in landfills and from there leach out into groundwater. Arsenic is one such mineral that can foul groundwater. Landfills contain a volatile mix that will affect the area for thousands of years. Minerals do not break down like organic materials do.

Every time you throw out a bottle without recycling, every can, piece of paper etc... your are causing manufacturers to mine new minerals/materials to make a new one. By limiting minerals we allow the earth time to renew it%26#039;s supply (for some) and make them last for future generations.
