Do Barn Owls live in areas with others of its species or do they live alone with their mate?
Best Answer
Barn owls (like most other owls) are not social, and since they are near the %26quot;top%26quot; of their food chain, they aggressively compete for regions. The only time that two owls are together is during mating. I do not believe that they form lasting pairings like other raptors; they may take care of their young together, but once the fledglings have flown the pair separates.

they%26#039;re antisocial, except for family groups.
which last a few months, or so.
great horned owls are stronger, and kill them.
