No insect will make a animal go extinct, However the insects will keep that animal at a reasonable level of population. That animal that is going extinct is probably going because of a number of things like polluted air and water, loss of habitat due to forestation, climate change etc. and the insects are not helping. Don%26#039;t forget if that insect goes extinct, then some bird may who%26#039;s main food source is that insect may go extinct, then whatever eats the bird may go extinct etc.If just one animal is removed out of the food chain, it is harmful to ALL of the animals. 100% 7 Votes
