Do you think polor bears should be classified as an endanger species?

This is right to the point regarding this issue. Living close to the region of these polar bears and the environment one sees first hand the effects. Thank you . I would like to thank everyone else also for their answers.

• Why? As much new snow and ice that has formed in the artic this year alone? turn off mtv, and cnn, and educate your self.
• Yes, more so than some stupid tree frog, etc.
• The last I heard their population was large and not falling. So no, they are not endangered.
• Only one species of polar bear is on the decline. Some are actually getting bigger and most are stable. So...no.

  I heard reports that since the ice caps are slowly melting, polar bears tend to have less %26quot;land%26quot; to walk on. This means that water becomes %26quot;wider%26quot; since distance between %26quot;ice lands%26quot; will be greater. Therefore polar bears have drowned due to lack of land to rest on.
