Getting rid carp.? My pond is overrun with grass carp. How do i thin out the population.

Shock the pond with a small generator. The fish will be stunned, and float to the top. Remove any offending fish with a dip net. The others will revive, and be fine. You won%26#039;t get them all, but if your aim is to %26quot;thin out%26quot;, this should work.
Do what ever you want with the catch, but fish make great fertilizer for you gardens. 67% 2 Votes

• Why not when you catch them give them away there are alot of people who eat them. Also if you know others who have had moss take over their ponds offer them to them . You would be saving your pond and theirs 0% 0 Votes

  try someplace that has not been taken
  or ask your commnity if you can build up a pond for them.
