How Much Pieces Of Paper Make Up An Average Sized Oak Tree? I was wondering how many pieces of paper make up an averaged sized oak tree. I have a lot of things on my mine, this is one of my concerns.

• I would be thinking of how i could get more paper out of a pine tree, or more paper per year per acre, or simply how I could use less paper, or how I could help other people use less paper, or recycle more paper etc. etc.

• Oak is not generally used for paper. Oak and other hardwoods would be used for construction: hardwood flooring, moldings, millwork, etc. Pine grows faster and is used to make paper, cardboard, etc.
• Oak trees are not made of paper.
  They grow from the ground.
• Probably more than you will ever use in a lifetime!!
• Hardwood can be made into paper. Fine, delicate papers. Pine, spruce, and fir are made into more sturdy papers because they have longer fibers.
  
  So it depends on the type of paper. The other main component to paper is made of various types of clay. The more shinny the paper is, the more clay content it has. So if you calculated the volume of your tree, it could make a greater volume of paper. But probably not, there will be some waste. It%26#039;s not a simple question to answer.
