I wish! I work as a wildlife biologist who protects endangered species. The most I get to do is report people destroying habitat and getting them fined, or jailed...but physical contact or %26quot;shooting%26quot; them is out of the question. If you are serious and really want to work protecting wildlife.. go to school and earn a degree in biology, zoology, wildlife management , wildlife studies, or something similar. Apply for jobs with US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Fish and Game, US Forest Service, etc.

You are deputized young man. Feed the animals and help them every chance in life that you get. Evil people should be stopped for the war that they have raged on this planet. You are already capable and willing to help. DO IT !! You do not need governments permission to help. There is so much life that does not call a zoo home. They are out there and waiting for you to help them.

A degree in conservation or environmental management would be useful. You could then work for practically any trust or project.

Search the Internet you never know what job you will find. altho i think your asking toooooooooooooooooooooo much, you could end up in prison with all the wild animals there if your not careful.

There are many good conservationist volunteer projects now days you just gotta search the web for something that suits you unfortunately over the past 10 years or so many of these have become like holidays as demand for these is huge and you must pay. Most of these are based in Africa and are very expensive. If that%26#039;s not for you the best thing to do is volunteer locally even in the dog pounds they need volunteers. Its not to hard to find a placement if your committed. Good luck dude oh and don%26#039;t shoot anyone. :)

I work at a zoo and a good way to get in is to volunteer first, then you will be well placed when a vacany arises, try the rspb reserve or woodland agency or similar.

This field is pretty complex believe it or not! Nearly every job you can think of has some sort of impact on wildlife and the environment. This means that there are more environmental jobs being created every day. It also means that the field is very complex, and you need to do so research and thinking to figure out what might be the best profession for you.
Otherwise, you can volunteer. Passionate protectors of wildlife are ALWAYS needed to volunteer
Assist with the feeding and care of the animals
Become a foster parent at your home. Training is provided. .
Answer a hotline. As a hotline volunteer you will assist callers in better understanding a situation they have encountered and determining when a rescue is needed. You will check in newpatients as they arrive, and keep records on the animals. Training is provided and staff will be available to assist you at first.
Make yourself available for on-call emergency animal pickup or transfer to release site. Being able to rescue or release an animal back into the wild is a very rewarding experience. Once again training and equipment is provided.
