If I cross the bridge into another state I get 5c. If I go to the local recycling center I get 60c per pound. There are about 16 clean, dry 12 oz. cans in a pound. If there%26#039;s a little beer, a cigarette butt or a slug in each can I would get more at the recycling center. Plus its closer than crossing the bridge.

In Ky, you get 50 cents per pund. Check around and see what the best price is. Some places vary over others. At least you are recycling.

We just did it the other day. 73 cents per lb. But copper is the big thing $2.20 a lb, and even what seems to be a small amount turns out to be fairly lucrative
