We can not even hazard a guess unless we know whether the home is on a water-recovery system.

In my home every bit of water going down our sinks, our toilets, our showers, is all recovered. That does not mean we do not have to pump it, using electrical power, but none of our water is %26#039;wasted%26#039; except during periods of flooding.

It can be more important to get us all onto water recovery than to stop %26#039;wasting%26#039; water.

Because we recover all our water, we can dare to use it to carry away summer heat from the house, and we can even pump heat from it before sending it out for recovery in winter. (We do not, but we could).
