I want to work for the State, doing wildlife conservation? I have my BA degree in Biology, but am not sure how to get my foot in the door. Is there any advice anyone can give me or direction on how to start that. I live in NJ

Almost all of the state jobs require a civil service exam. You can go online to your state and search for any open jobs, and even job titles and see what their requirements are for each position. They tend to have different levels for each type of position, accountant I, accountant II, etc. and typically you have to start at a lower rank and then they will have exams to move to higher levels. 0% 0 Votes
