Many international conservation groups are working to save the rainforest-? what rights do we have to interfere with how another sovereign nation chooses to manage its own lands?

We have the right to offer suggestions and support for change and to advocate for better policies. Those countries have the choice to ignore us though. I don%26#039;t look at it as interference so much (although those in that country might disagree) as enlightened self-interest on my part. if I get them to improve their policies and practices we%26#039;re all better off. 75% 6 Votes

  • It is really up to the host country,to decide on this.Anyway all they are trying to do is help, and if it is for the good of the recipient countries and more over the international conservation groups have the resources why not take advantage of it.After all the problem of deforestation like any other environmental problem is a global issue, and should be addressed globally.Underdeveloped and developing countries will need findings from international organization for such initiatives. 13% 1 Vote
