Need answer to this question because I never heard of this have you? My husband and his dad asked me what is it called when two rivers connect into one river.Ok so anybody know this answer, because I have not got a clue.

Confluence- when 2 rivers of almost the same size and discharge converge into one river.
Tributary - when one minor river connects into the bigger one.
