Yes, either PUR or Britta are both good. If you%26#039;re concerned about contamination in your tap water or just bad taste, these filters will take care of both concerns. In fact they%26#039;re good even if you%26#039;re not worried about your water quality because of the convenience of the pitcher you mention. I like the pitcher because then I can store the water in my fridge and it%26#039;s nice and cold for when I want to drink it. Cold, clean, practically free water - you can%26#039;t beat it!

Exactly what are you trying to %26quot;clean%26quot; out of your water?

Get dental insurance before getting a water filter. These filters remove the fluoride from the water (that the govt. puts in.) Fluoride is great for your teeth, however, with it being filtered out from the water-you will need the insurance to repair your teeth sooner or later.

Yes, they work very well. I was working in Texas for a year and the water there had a bad taste due to minerals in the water. I put one on my sink faucet and the water tasted great. The little filter cartridge lasted a very long time.
