A very important answer to this question is environmental degradation .A large number of trees r cut down for getting timber and medicines. Trees r also cut to get space for settlement,setting up indrustries %26amp; agriculture.This is endangering plants species. People cut trees for their income but they always forget to plant more trees.Now coming to animals. The animals r living in bad enviroment. No body care for them. Lakhs of animals are killed for food.Hunting %26amp;poaching is done on a large scale. They r also killed for their valuable body parts like horns %26amp; skin. For example, fishing is continuing endlessly. Will this not cause threat to aquatic life ? of course it will. The animals are also getting homeless as the forests are cleared off. And no forest means extinction of many wild animals.Do anyone care for dogs and cows on indian roads.NO.Similarly other animals r also not cared . It is obvious that they will be endangered.Given above r the reasons for the animals and plants of India to get endangered. 80% 4 Votes
