Recycling? Can you recycle staples? I have a bunch of paper and packets that have staples in them. I once heard that you have to take the staples out to recycle the paper. Is that necessary?

As long as you have a recycling place that accepts office paper you can recyle the paper without removing the staples. I work in a job where we run the recycling center.

• Like all recycling you have to do your part wash the cans, remove the labels, sort the plastic by code, so ENRON a Waste Management Company can haul it to the land fill. It%26#039;s good that you pay to recycle and the Government gives them $12.50 to drive by your house whether you recycle or not, or they might have to go bankrupt, then open two new company%26#039;s under different names, and cheat all their stockholders out of their money and their employees out of their retirement. Please remove the Staples%26#039;s we can maybe save a tree. That is if we can get the system to work the way it%26#039;s supposed to.
