I got a mail saying there is threat to Baby seals. They have been hunted for sports..Cruel... Any suggestions as how to take step for this...As for how to stop these things, start a petition, speak with Green Peace and other NGO%26#039;s

Once again misinformation is being spread through email. Baby seals are NOT being hunted for sport. In fact they are not hunted at all. In Canada the seal hunt is confined to the adult seals, of which we have hundreds of thousands. They are no where near being endangered, and seal hunting has been a way of earning a living for Aboriginal people for centuries. Do you eat beef or pork or chicken? These animals are being killed every day but most people do not say anything about it. If you don%26#039;t agree with the seal hunt, don%26#039;t eat seal meat or buy boots or coats made from sealskin.
