What air current should be used for a cool house if i cant use air conditioning? .

  Alin_, you idea of leaving a freezer open will not work. Freezers, like all refrigeration devices simply move heat around. In the case of the freezer the heat is moved from inside the freezer cabinet to the room outside of the freezer. Since some energy is required to move the heat, and since no system is 100% heat efficient, some additional heat is produced by the freezer. This is also passed into the room. • Remember that heat rises and cold falls. Get two blower fans. Open a window up high for one fan, another down low for the other. This pushes the hot air out and brings cool air in. Try closing curtains to keep out the sun will also help. Then enjoy.

• Blow air through a wet towel with a fan. It%26#039;s a simple form of a swamp cooler. (heavily used in hot dry areas before A/C) The wet towel adds moisture to the air and cools the air. Another good way to keep cool if you can%26#039;t stay in front of the fan is to freeze a wet washcloth and place the washcloth on the back of your neck.
